Insistent gurgly electronics, driving distorted guitar of industrial intensity and vocals (not as throaty as I was expecting) feature in the dark epic rock of 'Lone Night Rider' brought to us by Ulf Theodor Schwadorf (of Empyrium) and Allen B Konstanz (Ex-Nox Mortis). The rider in question is the Grim Reaper. The other track, 'Elisabeth Dane', features spoken word with musical acompaniment in a neoclassical rock style. Elizabeth Dane was the lost ship in John Carpenter's brilliant cult horror film, The Fog. Combining strident metal with camp horror, the tracks are both dramatic and exciting and foreshadow "more creepy and haunting entertainment by the end of the year". Great fun, nice cover and the promise of more to come.
