China Tax
The successful applicants would be responsible for performing PRC crossborder
tax and investment advisory services, cross-border and operational
structuring, pre-listing re-organization and annual tax provision reviews. They
will also be responsible for carrying out research on PRC tax and investment
rules and regulations and assisting in technical marketing.
Managers or above
• University graduate
• A minimum of 5 years of professional working experiences with at least 2
years in China Tax
• Solid experience in handling PRC cross-border tax and investment
advisory works such as tax planning, due diligence review and investment
structuring and advisory
• Qualified accountant with ACCA / CICPA or other recognized professional
qualification
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong Chinese and English technical writing skills
• Hands on working experiences in China is preferred
Seniors / Staff Accountants
• University graduate
• A minimum of 2 years relevant working experiences
• Experience in handling PRC cross-border tax and investment advisory
works such as tax planning, due diligence review and investment
structuring and advisory
• Qualified accountant with ACCA / CICPA or other recognized professional
qualification is preferred
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong Chinese and English technical writing skills
PRC Tax
The successful applicants would be responsible for managing portfolio of
international, mainland and Hong Kong clients and be involved in a variety of
clients' engagements including devising and implementing market entry
strategy, conducting business process review, participating in contract
negotiation, reviewing tax returns, and dealing with Chinese tax and other
regulatory authorities on various matters.
Manager
• University graduate
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experiences
• Qualified accountants with ACCA / CICPA or other recognized
professional qualification
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
Staff Accountants
• University graduate
• Experience in handling PRC tax and advisory works will be an advantage
but not essential
• Good Computer skills such as Word, Excel and Chinese word processing
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
Technical Assistant
• Matriculated or above
• A minimum of 2 years of working experience
• Proficiency in computer application such as Word, Excel and Chinese
word processing
• Experiences in PRC tax research will be an advantage
Transaction Tax
Ernst & Young has sought to concentrate all the tax expertise needed to
complete a transaction successfully in one place - allowing us to provide
anything from tax support in a particular phase of the transaction to a
complete tax offering as part of an integrated Transaction Advisory Service.
To build our Chinese Transaction Tax practice, we are now looking for:
Seniors, Managers and above
• University graduates with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A minimum of 3 years of big 4 experience for seniors and 5 years for
managers grade
• Experience of tax due diligence in PRC, design of investment structures
into PRC and interpretation of PRC tax legislation and tax treaties
• Proficiency in spoken English and Putonghua with good report writing
skills
• Qualified accountants with ACCA / CICPA or other recognized
professional qualification is preferred
• Hong Kong based, but extensive travel within China will be required
International Tax Services
The successful applicants would be responsible for compliance and consulting
work on US inbound, outbound and regional tax related matters for US-owned
multinational corporations with significant investments in Hong Kong and Asia
Pacific and for Asian corporations with significant investments in the U.S. This
will include the preparation and review of various U.S. income tax returns,
income tax provisions and participation in various consulting projects involving;
acquisition planning, post-merger integration and restructuring, superholdco
planning, cross-border financing arrangements, and intangible asset planning.
Senior / Staff Accountant
• University graduates
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience for Staff Accountant and 3
years for senior grade
• Qualified US CPA or US attorney is preferred
• Knowledge in US corporate tax will be an advantage
• Basic research and computer skills
• Excellent command in spoken and written English is essential
Human Capital
Seniors / Staff Accountants
• University graduate majoring in accounting
• 1 - 3 year(s) of working experience
• Good computer skills
• Candidates with less experiences will be considered as entry-level position
